Along with every other aspect of Denver, the culinary scene is booming and only expected to grow as we move through the year. What can we expect from the newest restaurants in Denver this year? More local joints, out of town transplants, and growing neighborhood staples. Personally, we are looking forward to every single one – and we are here to tell you why. Without further ado, we present five of Denver’s most anticipated dining and beverage destinations coming this spring.
Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge, a restaurant that already has locations around the world in places such as Mexico City and Tokyo is coming to the Mile High City this spring. The pan-Latin and Asian fusion flavors will be hitting Cherry Creek’s JW Marriott in replacement of the hotel’s previous restaurant, Social Fare. Get excited to indulge in some incredible fusion flavors from destinations around the world, including a fresh ceviche bar and quality tequila-infused cocktails.
Owner of Mason’s Dumpling Shop, Ker Zhu, claims that transforming an old dive bar in Aurora into a modern dumpling restaurant was no easy feat, and he almost gave up on the project multiple times. But the result of his hard work paid off, and this delicious destination is set to open this month! Be on the lookout for this shop’s freshly made steamed and boiled dumplings, along with other authentic and iconic dishes throughout 2020.
The vegan food trend isn’t going anywhere in 2020. In fact, it’s only continuing to grow! Which is why plant-based eaters should get excited for the grand opening of Meta Burger’s second location. The vegan eatery is set to open in May or June in the Edgewater Public Market. This joint is known for comfort food such as burgers, mac and cheese, and milkshakes that are completely free of animal products. We are drooling!
Having just opened in mid-January, Fox Run Cafe is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for a modern, yet classic breakfast and lunch. This local cafe offers a variety of unique pastries and breads, as well as elegant and simple sandwiches and salads. Eat amongst the cleanest and freshest interior design!
Last but not least, we had to throw in a brewery for fellow beer lovers. Spice Trade Brewing is set to open mid-year! Enjoy this award-winning taproom that includes beers flavored with exotic herbs and spices amongst the globally influenced street food! Not only are you set to enjoy the food and beverage, but the atmosphere will be designed similar to that of an outdoor street market.
We couldn’t be more excited about these new local joints, as well as some iconic restaurant chains blessing us with their presence this spring. From Latin, American, Asian, and more – you’re bound to find a new restaurant this spring that will satisfy your palate.
